The Persian Period


To have an idea of the macro-cosmic context of the composition of Proverbs, Job, and Psalms, knowledge of the Persian Empire is helpful. Fr. Randy Flores, SVD, is the current Rector of the Diocesan Shrine of Jesus the Divine Word in the Diocese of Cubao and Director of the Diocesan Biblical Apostolate.
